Trust Me!

You may have seen the recent tightrope walker that made the news while crossing Niagra Falls. But you may not be as familiar with one of the most famous daredevils of the falls from the 1800s. He was known as The Great Blondin. He would cross the gorge and do amazing stunts. One even included carrying a man across on his back. If you had been asked by Blondin to be that person to ride piggy back, would you have done it? Would you have trusted him? It’s easy to ask people to trust us, but when it comes to ourselves and trusting others, it can be tough. This week, we continued our Straight series at The Fellowship and we took a good look at a famous passage on just that: Trust. It’s found in Proverbs chapter three. In this crazy world, even those we trust the most can let us down. So, what does it mean when God asks us to trust Him? Check it out. Also, we’d love for you to join us this coming Sunday. Worship is at 10:45 a.m. with LIFEgroups at 9:30 a.m. See you there.
